Our Family
This is a blog about our family. My journal of our adventures. We're just trying to do our best raising 2 crazy kids (or maybe we're the crazy ones). Eight years of marriage under our belts, and still lots of new adventures and surprises on this road called life.

In loving memory of my mom- Kathleen Nelson Higgins May 11, 1954-December 29, 2008. She is my warrior and I wear pink in honor of her.

Atlanta

Stuck in Atlanta GA. . . Still!
Flat tire on plane Sunday-check.
Missed connecting flight to Dublin.
Hotel ran illegally-check.
Spent Monday at Atlanta Aquarium & Coke Cola museum.
Flight to Dublin scheduled for 24 hrs later-cancelled.
Volcanic ash.
2 1/2 hours in line at Delta International- 2nd day in a row.
Second night in Atlanta- better hotel.
Flight to Paris tomorrow afternoon.
We'll see if Wed-Sat is spent in Ireland or Paris.
And to think, my dad and I could have been staying at the Ritz-Carleton for free tonight in Dublin if it hadn't been for that darn tire.

The Atlanta airport is starting to feel like the Labrynth in the Percy Jackson books.
We may never escape:).

Hopefully torrow will have further destinations in store- I'm prayin'.

  3. Overall that stinks!! But the good thing is that you are by the Coke museum. If you are going to be stuck, might as well have plenty of Coke.

  4. Ha ha Cammie, it's true. We had our friends- the beluga whales and a bottle of Coke. The only thing better would have been the whale and coke on an airplane over the Atlantic ocean!
