Feed the dinosaur a coin and it growls. Scary, yet exciting- depends on who you ask.

My favorite thing (which I didn't get a picture of) was in this hands on room for kids to play in (or lay in giant dinosaur bones like Grace prefers), there was a giant glass window that looks on the paleontologist and volunteers who are working to drill out dinosaur fossils. The scientists are just busy at work and you can watch them. I thought it was awesome. The other great part was there were 3 guys with snow white hair that looked like 'mad scientist' working away. They must really love bones to be giving all that time and concentration to those rocks. It's cool to see what people's passions are- generally you'll find them doing them.

dang it all... wish Rexburg had ANYTHING cool like this!!!!! AWESOME place, love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the one of Max's or Grace's hands covered in those little ball things... looks like the cover to that one book "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey
That really turned out to be fun. We might have to go back on a Monday night with Keith.
